Spidertag is back on the streets of Sweden for a street art festival called "Take Tomorrow Back" after a 9-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Madrid-based street artist completed a brand new neon light artwork on the streets of Söderhamn to commemorate the city's 400th anniversary.
This nighttime piece, dubbed "Interactive Neon Mural #9," measures 25 7 meters (82 22.9 feet) and features fanciful shapes that glow brightly after dark. Spidertag has the following to say about the new mural: “I was honored to be part of creating my Interactive Neon Mural #9 for a street art festival called Take Tomorrow Back. It is the first of the year due to the crisis of COVID-19. So I was very excited after a long 9 months of depression caused by the global virus situation. I used all my energy and all the colors of the neon to try to give some hope in these obscure times.”
