Kat Shevchenko studied Traditional Illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA and graduated in 2003. Set amidst the vibrant landscape of the creative city she readily soaked up the multiverse of diverse influences. Since 2003 she has been based in her hometown of San Antonio, TX. With a love of science fiction and fantasy from young age she has been cultivating a unique and personal vision in her illustrations with surrealistic influences. Kat mainly works in watercolor, pen and ink in her illustrations and is available for freelance projects for various media.
