Julian Fischer is a Swiss illustrator and motion designer based in London. Originally from Zimbabwe, Julian has a background in fine art with a degree in Information Design from the University of Pretoria. His versatile style is well-suited to both digital and traditional media, exploring complementary colour schemes, crunchy textures and bold linework. He is inspired by plants, animals, human bodies and space exploration, and enjoys experimenting with scale and the surreal. Julian has produced illustrations and animations for NGOs, charities, bands and children's publications, as well as major companies and social media entities. In his free time, Julian enjoys painting, photography, and climbing.
